Hard-Boiled Egg Biscuits
What's better than a hard-boiled egg? A hard-boiled egg in a biscuit! It's a filling breakfast for egg-lovers everywhere and can be made ahead of time for a quick and easy breakfast.
I would love to try adding a little cheddar or parmesan cheese to these biscuits.
Hard-Boiled Egg Biscuits
-Makes 8 biscuits
Ingredients
Directions
Ingredients
- 1 package pillsbury biscuit dough (any style)
- 8 eggs
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Grease eight 1-cup ramekins VERY well. (You want to make sure the biscuits will easily pop out of the ramekins.)
- Split each biscuit in half. For one biscuit, place half the biscuit dough into one of the ramekins so that it completely covers the bottom surface of the ramekin. Crack an egg and place it on top of the biscuit layer, try to get the yolk in the center of the ramekin. Place the other biscuit layer on top of the egg.
- Repeat step 3 for each of the eight biscuits.
- Bake the biscuits in the oven for 19-23 min, depending on if you want your yolks to be runny or not. (I baked my biscuits for 23 min)
